Welcome To The Family

My second niece was expecting a child anytime this month. Last July 15, a water bag was broken but she doesn’t feel any pain yet. Every time and then we kept asking how she was feeling and her frequent answered was she was okay and she felt a little bit pain. But she still felt that it was not the time for the baby to come out yet. Then, last night, around 7 in the evening she felt so much pain already and the interval of paining was numerous too. So, I told my sister in law, her mother that it’s time for them to go to the birthing center. So, after dinner, they went to the birthing center.

And to make the very long short, at exactly 1:45 in the morning, my niece gave birth to very healthy baby boy, and in that very moment, a new member of our family has been added. Thank You, Lord.

Since, she gave me at dawn so I didn’t see the baby immediately, but after church, I went straight to the birthday center and I was so glad seeing the little boy sleeping, but as soon as he heard my voice, he opened his eyes. And according to her mother, he was asleep most of the time, and he never opened his eyes yet. But, when he hears my voice, he opened his eyes, as if, he was listening to me. Cuteness!

Not long enough, the elder son of my niece arrived with my other sister in law. As soon, the big boy came in, we told him that he has a baby brother already, at first, he wanted to cry, but when we explained to him, and we let him see his baby brother, he smiled but never talked yet.

Welcome to our family Baby Christian Dave. Many of us, attested that he sure looks like his  grandfather, my eldest brother. Sure enough, his grandfather is so happy knowing that his grandson looks like him. A proud lolo, of course. But his father is just smiling listening to us saying..” oh, he really looks like his lolo-grandfather. But I think baby CD’s appearance will be changed when he grows because his elder brother was exactly like his grandfather too but when he grows up he looks like his father.

Now, the eldest son of my niece was talking to his mother already and he said, ” mama I miss you. So touching. Actually, it was the first time that he  slept without his mother. And he will turn to 3 years old this coming July 21.

After laboring a few hours, she finally rested from the pain. According to her, she never cried when she labored with her first son, but with her second son, she cried a lot because of too much pain because she labored for more than 6 hours. But all the pained that she felt was totally gone after she heard the baby’s cry. That’s what she told me. I think every mother who gives birth would always feel the same as what my niece was felt.
